In 2024, Ruger will proudly celebrate 75 years of manufacturing rugged, reliable firearms. To commemorate this accomplishment, Ruger is proud to announce four 75th Anniversary Models, each representative of Ruger's storied past and bright future. These commemorative models are inspired by iconic Ruger products, and represent each of our three major manufacturing facilities. Chambered in .380 Auto, the Ruger LCP MAX fits 10+1 rounds into the same footprint as the LCP II. Measuring less than 1" wide and weighing under 11 ounces, the LCP MAX is smaller than every micro-9 pistol available, expanding the options for comfortable and convenient concealed carry. Offering more than just capacity, the LCP MAX pistol's double stack magazine feed lips are optimized to reliably feed the wide variety of modern .380 Auto ammunition available. As compact as ever, the flush-fit, 10-round magazine feels identical to the LCP II magazine (with its extended floorplate installed) while accommodating an additional 4 rounds of ammunition. The LCP MAX is fitted with a tritium front sight with white outline that is quick to acquire and aligns easily with the generous u-notch rear sight. A square face on the rear sight aids in one-handed cocking and the steel, drift-adjustable sights make accurate fire easier than ever. The medium-textured grip frame provides easy reach to the Secure Action trigger that is well known for its short, crisp trigger pull and inner trigger safety. Pronounced cocking ears and deep functional slide serrations ensure easy manipulation of the pistol. Every corner and edge on the LCP MAX slide and frame have been softened for comfortable carry and the magazine release is reversible to fit all shooters. The Ruger LCP MAX ships with one, 10- round magazine; a finger grip extension floorplate; pocket holster; and magazine loader.

PURCHASING FIREARMS ONLINE

It is illegal to ship firearms to anyone not holding an active Federal Firearms License (FFL). For that reason, firearms purchased online may be picked up at our store or shipped to an FFL (gun store) near you. We may contact and verify the FFL you select during checkout before we ship your firearm(s). The buyer is encouraged to contact the receiving FFL licensee before purchase.

RETURNS

If there is an issue your purchase, please contact us within 15 business days of purchase. Depending on the reason for the request of a return, a restocking fee may be charged.

All Ammunition and Firearm sales are final.

For online orders the firearm is ready to be picked up at your FFL, Please INSPECT THE FIREARM THOROUGHLY to make sure it is what you ordered and that there are no defects with the firearm. If there are any problems, DO NOT ACCEPT THE TRANSFER!! We will gladly have the firearm picked up and returned to us from your dealer at our expense and provide you with your choice of a REPLACEMENT or REFUND. Once you accept transfer from your dealer, the gun is considered used and must be returned directly to the manufacturer for warranty repair or replacement. No returns to The Modern Sportsman after a transfer has been accepted.
Sales on the following items are final:

  1. Special orders.
  2. Products sold “as is” or “used” or that have an optic thats been installed or used after receipt.
  3. NFA items.
  4. Illumination devices, electronic sights and optics.

USED FIREARMS

Used firearms may not be returned. All sales are final. Description and photos (if available) are provided by the seller.

GENERAL FIREARM SALES

All firearms, magazines, receivers and restricted law enforcement items are sold and shipped in accordance with all existing federal, state and local laws and regulations. Many of the firearms, magazines and parts for sale on this website may be restricted or prohibited in your area. Please check your local and state regulations before ordering.

All new firearms are shipped in the original manufacturer’s box, with magazine(s), accessories and applicable warranty. Firearms requiring warranty work must be returned to the factory within 1 year of purchase for repair. Accessories and special order items not normally sold by our store will not be covered under warranty even if these products are part of an integrated firearms package, unless we have guaranteed the entire package in writing. Please contact the original manufacturer for warranty information on all accessories and special order items.

ORDER FULFILLMENT

All orders are shipped promptly from either our in-store inventory within 3-4 business days or distributor warehouse within 14 business days using UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Tracking numbers are available for items shipped via UPS and FedEx. Shipping prices are for the continental US. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or other US Territories are possible but may incur additional charges. Please email us to inquire what those fees will be if this is an issue.

IN STOCK STATUS

If item states “Available In Store”, this does not guarantee availability. If an item is no longer available after purchase, we will offer the immediate refund or offer a similar item.

We do not guarantee that titles, descriptions, pictures, or prices on our site are error-free. We reserve the right to refuse any order including but not limited to orders for items with errors in the description or price. In the event that we cancel an order we will not charge the customer’s credit card or we will refund the money.

AMMUNITION PURCHASES

You must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition. All ammunition will be shipped ground with adult signature required. Always make sure to use the correct ammunition for your specific firearms. Check your local laws for any other regulations.
